Step 1 :

Implant a microchip. Microchip is need for entering Japan

Step 2 :

Give Rabies Vaccination & other vaccinations to your dog/cat

Dog/Cat will need to do 2 times Rabies vaccination with interval between the vaccination at least 30 days.

Step 3 :

Do Rabies Serology Blood Titer Test. The blood sampling can be took at the same day or after the second rabies vaccination. The result must be equal to or more than 0.5 IU/ml. If you would like to have your pet/s to enter Japan without quarantine, the pet/s must complete the 180 days waiting period after the blood sampling. The rabies serology test certificate is valid for 2 years, and booster of rabies vaccination need to be give before the due date of the rabies vaccination

Step 4 :

At least 40 days before departure, an application letter must be send to the Japanese Animal Quarantine (based on the arrival airport).

Step 5 :

Apply for Indonesian export permit

Step 6 :

Within 7 days before departure you need to bring your pet/s to local vet clinic for health check

Step 7 :

Within 2 days before departure, the International Health Certificate will be issue and the Indonesian Animal Quarantine will endorse form AC.
