Step 1 :

Implant a microchip. Microchip is needed for entering Malta and to bring your pet out from Indonesia

Step 2 :

Give Rabies Vaccination & other vaccinations to your dog/cat

Dog/Cat can only enter Malta at least 30 days after the vaccination. The vaccination in Indonesia valid for 1 year

Step 3 :

Do Rabies Serology Blood Titer Test. The blood sampling can only be taken at least 30 days after the last rabies vaccination. The result must be equal to or more than 0.5 IU/ml. The pet only allowed to entering the country 90 days after the date of blood sampling.

Step 4 :

Apply for export permit

Step 5 :

Within 24-120 hours before date of arrival, dog must be treated for Echinococcus Multilocularis

Step 6 :

Apply for International Health Certificate

No import permit needed

Note : Owner/ Owner representative must be arrive in Malta on the same day or within 5 days before or after the pet arrived
